Will Shonts, LPC
Will Shonts is a licensed professional counselor and certified Autism Specialist. He graduated from Carson-Newman College with a bachelors of science degree in psychology, and also from Trevecca Nazarene University with a masters of arts in counseling. Since 2002, he has been working in the field of psychology specializing in working with children with autism and other associated diagnoses such as ADHD, separation anxiety, attachment disorders, and more. Will, in conjunction with Steven Chandler, provides autism spectrum disorder evaluations using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule-2nd edition (ADOS-2). Will is available for speaking to teachers, churches, and other organizations to educate about effective methods used with children who have social and behavioral challenges. Will has had speaking engagements in local schools and organizations, and has appeared on the TV program, Joy In Our Town, on several occasions. Will is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and Society for Christian Psychologists. He has been happily married for eleven years, and he and his wife have a son and a daughter together.
