Jonna joined the Speech-Language Pathology profession after gaining her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Memphis. She also holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Kentucky.

Jonna has worked with pediatrics in the home health, private practice, and preschool settings. She has treated children from as young as 8 months to upper school age. She has extensive experience with early intervention and autism spectrum disorder, and has treated children with a variety of other diagnoses including: phonological disorders, language disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, fluency disorders, childhood syndromes, and other developmental disabilities. 

Jonna believes in empowering parents and family members to be their children's best teacher. She enjoys making therapy sessions fun and engaging to encourage child participation and create memorable, yet effective sessions.

Outside of speech pathology, Jonna is an active member in her church and enjoys all things Kentucky athletics. She and her husband, Heath, are expecting their first child in August. On the weekends, you can often find them on the lake or spending time with family.
