About

Michelle is originally from Illinois where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders at Illinois State University and her Master of Health Science in Speech Pathology at Governors State University. She is licensed to practice speech language pathology in Tennessee and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). 


Michelle enjoys working with all ages and has worked with clients ranging from 2.5 to 95 years old in the clinic, school, and post acute rehabilitation settings. Prior to moving to Tennessee, Michelle worked in the public schools where she serviced elementary students with diverse communication needs. Michelle is passionate about providing ethical and quality care to individuals in a fun and engaging environment. She has clinical experience evaluating and treating children and young adolescents with articulation disorders, phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language delays & disorders, fluency/stuttering, and autism spectrum disorder. 


Michelle values a multidisciplinary approach in treatment and assessment that includes collaborating with guardians, teachers, and other related service providers. She believes establishing trust with her clients and parents is the foundation of quality and effective therapy. 


In her free time, Michelle enjoys traveling with her husband, trying new coffee shops, and exploring different walking paths in the area. Even though Michelle is allergic to cats, she loves to snuggle with her cat, Dopie.
