About
Ellie is a native of the Nashville, TN area and is grateful to call it home. She has a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Auburn University and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Additionally, she obtained a graduate certificate in education from Lipscomb University and has a teaching certification in English Language Arts.
Ellie holds her Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a licensed speech pathologist in the state of Tennessee.
Ellie has primarily worked with school-aged clients, ranging from early intervention services to high-school aged students. She has evaluated and treated students with varying clinical profiles, including difficulties with articulation, phonology, fluency, language, and pragmatics. She particularly enjoys finding ways to integrate speech/language support into family rhythms and processes so that the support feels functional and actionable.
Outside of work, Ellie enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, walking, reading, and baking.
